STORIES SEEN THROUGH A GLASS PLATE I
EXHIBITION: INTERACTIVE MAP
Stories Seen Through a Glass Plate I showed work from the first three generations of Reeves photographers as lightboxes in 56 shop windows up and down Lewes High Street. The pictures were presented in the same location they were taken - as views of or from that shop window from between 1855 and 1976. The interactive map below illustrates the path of the exhibition as a series 'Past & Present' pictures. Hover over the numbered dots and click on the selected image to view and compare each location as it stands today with how as it once was.

The lightboxes have been designed to be reusable as this was the first edition of a series of lightbox exhibitions we aim to acheive as we dig deeper into the archive. Our next focus will be on WW1.
